BJC
Hello everyone. I am using a newly installed version of Map3D 2010 + Raster design. I currently have a drawing with a raster map background and Xref overlaid surveyed points. When I draw text labels ontop of the image they are ok until the file is saved and reloaded. Then the previously drawn labels are visible whilst the drawing is loading then virtually dissappear to grey. They are still there and can be editted but are hardly visible. I did not have this problem using 2008, any ideas please ??.
nukecad
I think that is a windows setting to do with font screening, not an Autocad one. It affects the mtext editor in the same way. In XP CONTROL PANEL > APPEARANCE AND THEMES > DISPLAY> APPEARANCE tab > EFFECTS Uncheck the second box down and see if this has the desired effect. BJC
I unchecked the box referring to smoothing the edges of screen fonts and reloaded the drawing. The labels still remain visible until regenerating is complete and then unfortunately disappear again !!
