Drawing sections

I am looking for a tool for drawing the outside profile of the roof tiles in architectural sections to speed up section drawing, for those of you out there who have used RCS the equivalent of the RR command.

I think there is something out there as i have noticed autocad drawings out there using this on sections, elevations etc so hope someone can help.

If you have a solid then SECTION command will create a region correctly from your cutting plane.

Sorry Mr T but i should have been a bit clearer but i was meaning in 2d only forming a type of stepping line.

But thanks for the info this will come in useful in another problem i was having.
