Draw wedge

With Civ3D 2010 how can I create a wedge out of an irregular shaped rectangle I have drawn in 2d? I know how to create a basic wedge with wedge command but it doesn't allow me to make it into an irregular shape (i.e. making its sides not straight). Essentially I have a rectangular shaped mining ramp (surveyed so edges no all perfectly straight) in 2d and want to convert it to 3d.

I assume you are drawing a right or left view as your profile? Have you tried closing the profile and extruding or using Press-Pull?

I think it works the same in Civ. A screen shot would help...

OK, to make my question simpler, say you drew a basic wedge solid and wanted to take the midpoint of one side and drag it in a bit how could I achieve this? I'm very new to 3d modeling of any time. If you instead draw just a 2d rectangle in autocad you could drag a vertex any way you want to. With the wedge command you can only shrink or expand the vertices, not indent it so to speak. If I type presspull it asks to click inside bounded areas to press or pull then nothing happens. I cannot deform the 4 sided shape.

If you draw a vertical line at your center mark you will have a closed profile for press-pull to work...

Thx for info. Is it possible to extrude only one side and not an entire object uniformly?

Yes. Imprint the line onto your wedge. Hold the (Ctrl) key when selecting the imprinted line and move along an axis as such:
