Problems with printing

Most likely it is with your linetype scale.

Are you printing from model space or paper space?

Are you printing to some sort of scale or to "fit"?

I guess you're saying that you print from model space and at no particular scale. Is that correct?

What is being drawn?

What size paper are you printing to?

Then you are working in 3D not 2D right? From your AutoCAD Help file:

Thickness

"Use the thickness property to give objects a 3D appearance."

2D? Then you have no rational reason to be using thickness unless you are trying to give the appearance of 3D.

Have you tried changing the linetype scale? A simple yes or no will suffice.

Perhaps the length of the line you want to print and the size of the paper you want to print to causes AutoCAD to compress the line to such an extent that it "appears" it is continuous.
