dreamer
Hi This is only an example. Lines and arcs as seen are on different UCS planes, I want to join them and make it a path for the circle to SWEEP along. But how to join them together? At the moment they are in 4 sections. Thanks. dreamer
msasu But that was the old method before SWEEP time. I thought there is a quicker method these days.
MSasu
Even if you use Rotate3D to align the section to be extruded on path followed by EXTRUDE or use SWEEP, the idea on recommended threads is to generate separate parts on exiting paths and join them together. dreamer
Thanks msasu. AutoCAD has enhanced so many Commands all these years. I am surprised that joining lines on different ucs planes still an impossible task. Regards
JD Mather
Thanks msasu.AutoCAD has enhanced so many Commands all these years. (actually Inventor doesn't even fool with a polyline type - Inventor sees them as connected sweep path).
