(using MatchProperties) [ATTACH]21499[/ATTACH] I did what the ex. showed me but when it says select destination or object I click on the area then scroll from corner to corner then when I click it nothing changes it says select destination or object again and vice versa. Almost sounds like the area is not totally enclosed and the hatch responds abnormally. Maybe try drawing a polyline around the area, not leaving any breaks in the line, then try hatching it.
