tu0nie
I have a quick question that I feel should be pretty easy but i cant figure it out. Is it possible to window a group of objects on multiple layers and do a list command of some sort to tell me the number of objects on each layer within the group I selected? Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks
rkmcswain
I can't think of any automatic way using vanilla AutoCAD tools.... [that is a sure sign for someone to come along and prove me wrong :-) ] But Toolpac includes a command for doing this.. that is what I use... qball
Qselect, Current Selection, Layer, and then the command line or properties palette should tell you how many objects you selected. you will have to repeat it for each layer.
