Bobzy20 Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Hi I’m trying to follow a SolidWorks tutorial (creating a hinge) but I seem to stuck on the part where I need to add an Extruded Cut. JD Mather Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Ctrl select the black sketch lines that are not the boxes for the extrude cut. Click on the option to set those lines to Construction linetype. (particularly the long line that cuts right through your three rectangles) You could click in the Selected Contours box and then select your desired contours - but I suggest you turn lines that are not part of the feature in to construction linetype.
