How to trim a Loft object?

Recommended Posts

Autodesk Inventor will trim surface (not sure about AutoCAD 2011).

Since you hve neither.

Thicken the Loft surface by a nomimal amount.

Now that it is a solid you can Slice with surface using the Swept surface.

Do you know how to use the Slice with Surface command?

Time to quit fooling around. We spend all of this time learning to communicate with geometry, let's communicate with geometry - attach your file here.

Sorry JD Mather. Did it.

After Slice the Solid with the Swept Surface, it looks like nothing had happened. True is the Solid has been made into 2 layers, removed the first layer, the bottom layer has been trimmed and it changed back to a Surface.

Thank you :D

When you did the Slice if you watched the Command Line you had 2 options

pick the side to keep/discard

or keep both sides.
