bjenk8100
Ok, I am going crazy. I need to set up templates so that my printing settings do not change. Our plotter has defined paper sizes (ex. ARCH A,B, C etc.). I usually use two sizes 36x24 adn 48x36. I haev made templates with our title block for each. For some reason when I choose Arch D (24x36) template everything looks great as an initial drawings. I go to model space adn draw whatever object I am drawing. However, if I hit print adn go to preview my drawing is in lanscape but the paper is in portrait. I went to printer properties and changed it to portrait and all is fine except all my text which is in paper space is 90 degrees in the opposite direction. I keep getting more and more confused. Can someone tell me how they have their printer and drawing settings set up for normal blueprints 36" left to right and 24" up - down. Please help:(( Thanks
nukecad
I wouldnt change the printer properties, instead try changing portrait/landscape in the Autocad plot dialogue.
