Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Hi,

Are there ways to contour the inability to use ucs/align in block editor space?

    Regards,

    Nicolas.

Your question makes no sense. "...contour the inability..."?

Try rephrasing the question please. Thank you.

You mean a workaround (fr. solution de contournement) for the fact that UCS command is disabled while in BEDIT command?
May try to use REFEDIT instead to modify block definitions.

You are right. "Workaround" is the right word. I was indeed thinking about "solution de contournement" (fr.) . I don't know much about REFEDIT but will try it and see how it can help without the need to explode, purge and redefine the block each time.

    Nicolas.

Refedit is a great tools and it does cover much of the limits of bedit command. You can add/substract objects to the block and esp. use stretch with them. However, there is a precious "save as" ability in Bedit layout that I noticed recently.
    Thanks,
    Nicolas.
