audit fixes errors but they don't go away

when i audit a problematic drawing (slow, hangs up occasionally) it says

"133 errors found; 133 errors fixed"

 

but when i run audit again, even after saving and closing, they remain, returning the same message.

 

anyone seen this issue before?
