Command not allowed because drawing contains objects from a newer version of this ap

Dear All,

I got some problem in opening AutoCAD file in ADT 2007, a error message "

Command not allowed because drawing contains objects from a newer version of this application". I think someone edit or updated the drawing in new version of AutoCAD and then save as 2007 format. Is it some different of the drawing in AutoCAD 2011 and ADT 2007 ?

The difference is in the drawing file type which AutoDesk changes with every major release to keep its competitors always on their toes. Yes, there would be a big difference between the dwg file type of 2007 and 2011.

Wblock out the stuff you need.

Or you could free download TrueView from Autodesk and fully convert the drawing to 2007. Then again, if 2011 can't open it again it may knot somebody's shorts.
