I have a set of drawings(electricity, pipe...etc) in different files and needed to be put onto a single plane to compare and check the location
    of the components.

what is the best way to move these layers and replace them onto another file??

    Thanks a lot for help~~

for just checking I use XREF. Either start with your base draing or a blank drawing and XREF in all the other drawings. Everything should then line up and you can UNLOAD/RELOAD each XREF to see how it matches.

Use the Design Center (hold the Ctrl button and press 2). This will allow you to drag and drop layers from one drawing to another.
