AQucsaiJr
I am looking for a tool that can tell me what blocks are in each drawing within a folder containing many drawings. I want to know the block name, its attributes, and what is populated in its attributes. Is there such a tool available?
BIGAL
Check out "attext" for a start this will dump all the block info its a autocad command
JBullseye74
You can also use your design center Ctrl+2 (shortcut) click on your drawing file and then blocks and it will list all blocks in drawing. No attributes though you will need to do an attribute extraction for this as referenced in the post from Bigal or ATTOUT for a txt. file containing all attribute info selected. Hope this helps.
