mattd@acdsecurity.com
Just started using Autocad 2011 on my pc running Windows XP Pro. I'm having an issue with my mouse/crosshairs being kind of jumpy as you drag across the workspace. It seems a little bothersome, especially when you try and snap to a point. Any Answers? Dana W
You are using an optical mouse, right? Try turning off hardware acceleration or Pointer acceleration in control panel > Mouse.
BIGAL
Also check you do not have GRID and SNAP on, snap can be set to say 1 unit makes the cursor jumpy.
bobsy852
Matt, I had a similar problem to this with AutoCAD 2010, so it may have been carried into 2011. Worth a try right? Anyway, the solution to mine was in the AutoCAD website link at the end of this thread: www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?51105-2010-CAD-slow-mouse-pointer&p=347553#post347553 Hope that helps mate!
