Are you absolutely sure that the "text" in Paper Space is actually text and not attributes attached to the title block - this could explain what you're seeing.

Im back with another text question. This one Im sure has a simple answer, must be a setting I dont yet know about.Ive recently opened a drawing and I can select the text in both paper space and model space
,so is there a system variable that I need to alter to be able to do this?Presently I can either write and select my mtext in either pspace or mspace not both.Another weird thing is that when I select this text in pspace the title block vanishes and wont come back.

No its just mtext not an attribute, its the same text that is in both p/mspace.Doesnt always select straight away have zoom in a bit, then it selects and my title block then vanishes.Maybe Ive loaded a lisp that does this and am not aware,or Im not meant to be able to do this, maybe its a bug or from another programme.Strange one though. We plot text at 2.5mm,the drawing is 1:50 scale and the text height in both mspace and pspace is 125mm,should be this only in mspace! So its as if I can select something in mspace I shouldnt be able to.Originally Posted by CADTutor
