Good day everyone... I'm not around much but whenever I have a question my group can't answer I always think of you guys thus I am back to ask more things to do with confusing CAD
Currently our group is using CAD '07 and we are trying to extract some attribute data for a Shutdown Key we need to put into Excel. We have gotten it to work and everything seems great till it spits out the resualts.
We need to have the order we choose be what comes out in the spreadsheet. This is where we are running into problems. Is there a way to edit how the data comes out in the spreadsheet other then it's auto filter??
Hopefully this is explained well enough. If not I can add some screen shots. Basically I need to be able to have the order of the data stay the same as what I select it not how CAD wants to put it.

I'm not sure if the Data Extraction Window in 2007 is the same as 11, but I'll give it a go anyway. When you get to page 5 of 8, in the lower right there is a button labeled "Sort Columns Options". Click it, and it will bring up another window displaying the column name on the left and order on the right, in rows for priority. Choose your column, then choose what order you want it to be displayed (Descending, Ascending etc.)
