    Default Help with Hatching

    Hi

I'm not sure if i can do this. I'd like to hatch my drawing ( e.g. a box with a few things in the box). What i normally do is i can hatch the whole box with solid pattern. However, the problem with this is it covers up everything. I mean you won't be able to see what's on the inside of the box transparently. What i want is to be able to show those few things in the box with the hatching going on the background transparently (just like in the office word document). In Office word, i think it's called shading. Would i be able to do it in AutoCAD LT?

Thank you very much in advance.

I never worked in LT. In full AutoCAD I would try to select the hatch and TOOLS>DRAW ORDER>SEND TO BACK.
An other walk around: try to use a dotted hatch. Set it dense enough to make it appear as solid.
It's nice to be nice, but sometimes is nicer to be evil!
