    Being a teacher of 12-18 yr olds starting with a basic knowledge of maths, eg struggling with Radius and Diameter concepts ! I appreciate the original posters position.

    But hit F1 and go through the online tutorials and/or load up the 'Learning Assistance' CD U got with AutoCAD, it's very good, and easy to follow.
