Hi onzki,
I don't think this is possible to do with one selection window. It requires at least 2 windows to do that and give one input distance.
If you want in this way please let me know i can give a try.

Hi guys, got another question though I don't know how to name it's command. I often find myself in need of simultaneously stretching or squeezing two object towards or away from center, it's like "scaling the distance" with respect to a certain base point. I'll attach an image.. Do you think it's possible in one command?
Here's what I intend:
1. type a command
2. window select two entities (red lines on image)
3. option to input distance or percent scale whether I want them go closer or farther from center line (CL)

Thank you!!!

You could write the code but it would require the user to pick a point then a corner for the window then pick the centerline or 2 points for a centerline then pick a base point on each object
Buy the time you do all that you could use stretch with the “from” command and be done.
I can see the challenge it writing the code but I can’t see a time saving use for it.

I think you're right though I just got very curious because I'm doing a masterplan and road width are still being revised most of the time. Right now, my quickest way is to stretch on one side and then simply mirror it from road center line or do the same stretch on other side.![]()
