mdp198
Hello, I wonder if anyone might be able to offer me any suggestions to a minor problem I seem to have... I recently upgraded to AutoCAD 2011 from 2008(finally!), and seem to be unable to successfully attach an Xref of a border. It says it is attached but doesn't appear in the layout. This border is from a separate party, and contains an OLE object, as well as a block inside it. Although unable to Xref this, I have been able to copy into my layout, as well as make a "border block" and insert that without any trouble. Only the Xref gives me problems. My layers, scale and insertion point are all correct, and every border I have done in the past has looked fine. Any suggestions? Has anyone else run into this when adjusting to 2011? Much appreciated, Matt
RobDraw
Is the border that you are XREFing in model space? If not, put it there. You cannot XREF stuff from paper space.
