how to match two vertices

I have to match the vertices A and C without changing the extent of the lines AB and CD keeping B and D as the rotating pins.

Can you help me? "

excuse me but I did not understand

 

 

command ROTATE and use the Parallell OSnap?

 

or

 

Do a XLine from B to A. Move that XLine to D and move C to end up on the XLine

Another attempt at interpreting your request.

 

Draw a circle centre B with radius to A. Draw another circle centre D with radius to C. Where they intersect gives the point where A and C should be.

 

Hopefully this is what you require. If not then someone else can have a go. :D
