Autosave is causing zoom pan ??

I have a user who has just started to have this problem

When autosave kicks in (every 5 mins for him) the drawing will zoom and pan to a different spot in model space for a second or 2 then back to where he was working, this is obviously very annoying for him but were at a loss as to whats causing it.

Rough specs but this issue is new so I dont think its the system

Win xp

Acad 2010

Intel core duo 2.66

4g ram

Congrats on your first post, and welcome to the forums!

First some questions to consider:

  • Does this only happen in one specific drawing?
  • Does this happen to other users in the same drawing(s) that you've identified the problem?
  • Does this continue after restarting AutoCAD (and/or the PC)?

Aside from a reactor (perhaps an editor, or command reactor specifically), I do not know what could cause this to happen. It would make for a *funny* (albeit unproductive) prank on a 'New guy'.

To test this theory, please open the problem drawing, and enter this code into the command line:

(vlr-remove-all)

...Does this *issue* continue to occur?

If so, then my theory is incorrect.

If not, then someone has a reactor loading, possibly with ACADDOC.lsp.

Good luck!
