    Default ADT Walls

I would like to know if there's a way to make ADT walls draw as simple 2D walls, that are independant from doors/windows yet will still allow door/window insertion. If this is possible I would love to know how to do so, we are considering dumping ADT 2004 and returning to R14 / Softdesk 8 and just use the ADT as a means of saving up and down. It seems like a very large investment in a version saver - I would like to keep it however not being able to draw in the manor in which my office is accustomed has severely hurt our production levels. Please provide any help and or suggesstions you may have.

    Thanks,

I was wondering what your problem with ADT is. I could no more consider going back to 14 as I could go back to the drawing board.

I t saves so much time in production terms. If you choose to use ADT there is no need to consider the third dimension.

What field are you in?. We have been using ADT now for 2 years. At a very basic level you can configer all of your doors and windows so that each window type is a seperate "type". You can then use the schedule tool to extraxt as much or as little information as you need.

When you draw with ADT you could also draw with lines, these will snap to the base (Z=0) of walls.
