    Default "missing or incompatible line style"?

    Hello,

    I'm trying to print something using the 2005 version but get a message saying "style de tracÚ manquant ou incompatible" which would roughly mean "line style missing or incompatible." What could this mean and how could I fix it please?

    Also, finally figured out how to display a part of my drawing in a floating window but can't get it to show at scale 1/2" = 1'-0". I have an instructional guide but although it's in French like my program, it refers only to English commands which are obviously not the same as the French ones. The manual says to choose the XP option from the zoom command to establish the scale at which the drawing will be shown. XP is not one of the choices in the French menu, so I choose the one that translates as "scale." I'm then asked to enter an nX or nXP value and when I type in .5 (which I understand is the XP value for the 1/2" = 1'-0") the drawing becomes so unbelievably huge I can't see it. Any help please?

    AutoCAD scale factors - AutoCAD Model Space drawing scaled within Paper Space viewports:

    1/8"=1'-0" at scale factor 1/96xp

    1/4"=1'-0" at scale factor 1/48xp

    1/2"=1'-0" at scale factor 1/24xp

    3/4"=1'-0" at scale factor 1/16xp

    1'=1'-0" at scale factor 1/12xp

    Notice the progression here?

    Regarding the linetype error message. Maybe the drawing you have contains a custom linetype that is incorrectly defined in the acad.lin file.
