    Default Is there a way to put a scanned pdf file into a drawing file keeping it as one file

    Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Is there a way to put a scanned pdf file into a drawing file so that there is a single file without links when
    the pdf is attached. This would allow my employer to send a single drawing file to their client?
    I would like to have something that is I can edit. Converting the pdf to a different file format for the drawing
    would be acceptable.

    Are you trying to send the referenced pdf with DWG, or trying to convert the pdf to AutoCAD drawings?
    You can send the referenced pdf along the dwg with e-transmit, to ensure no files are left behind.

    i tried with jpg image attach, it seems you can't bind the image, like you can a dwg xref. you can however copy and paste an image into autocad.
