Fatal Error When Attempting to Query Attachted Drawing - Civl 3D 2007

So my end goal is to 'elevate' contours imported from GIS. I successfully imported the countours along with their respective object data. I then close the drawing, open a new blank one, attach the previous drawing that contains the countours, start to define a query. This is where the problem occurs... When I select alter properties and then click "expression" I receive an error message "0x0004exception @645e65d0h" everytime. Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

Thanks!
