Bill Tillman
I have a shop drawing on which I need to insert details that are generic DWF files supplied by one of our vendors. So my qiestion is how to I insert these drawings into my file without copying them into the actual model space of my drawing file. I have been able to insert DWG files just fine but apparently there is more to this than when I need to insert the DWF files. Also, the same DWF files exist on the suppliers website. Is there a way to make a reference to the DWF files on the Internet so that they appear like they are just details in my drawing?
lpseifert
Insert > DWF Underlay... This will insert the dwf similar to inserting an image, you won't be able to edit the entities.
Bill Tillman
Ooops. Sorry, my bad. These are DXF files, not DWF's. Sorry for the confusion.
