Scoobydoo
I am creating a titleblock for our company and have run into a problem. I created the *.slddrt file, but when I select that file when creating a new drawing, the actual “titleblock” information does not appear (I just have the sheet size), so I am unable to see the borders, revision block, drawing title, etc. Is there something that I am doing wrong, and if so, how do I fix this? shift1313
What you want to do is start a new drawing file in the size you want. Right click on Sheet Format in the feature tree and select "edit sheet format". Make your changes and right click Sheet Format and select "edit sheet". Then so to Save As and save it as a drawing template file *.drwdot. Rename this something meaningful. Close the file. When you start a new drawing make sure you have selected Advanced at the bottom of the "new solidworks document" pop up window. You should see your drawing file there with the filled in title block.
