Drawing has come off of the x,y plane. how do i return it to the x,y plane

This is weird, How I did it, or how it happened is lost to me, but my drawing has come off of the x,y grid plane, and hovers about 3 inches, (on screen), above the x,y plane in the Z+ plane, and it is twisted about 90 degrees to the x,y plane.

How I did this, God if I know. I have tried moving it back to the x,y grid plane but no luck, it just sits there as if floating in space.

this is the second time this has happened. the first time I thought I just screwed up and did it in the UCS, DUCS or view settings,(ie vpoint 0,0,1, 0,-1,0), but I started fresh and repeated the drawing from scratch and when i opened it today it was there off the x,y plane.

how can i return the drawing to the x,y grid plane with the Z+ plane towards the top of my screen?

I really don't want to redo a the drawing again, but if I have to I will, this is just driving me crazy right now.

Thanks in advance...
