Is there a simple way to convert .dwg files to .plt files?

And does anyone have an idea how to print ansi d and e
    size .dwg files?

Is there anyplace you can go with a .dwg file or .plt
    file and have them printed?

Usually when you print, there is an option to PLOT TO FILE. If you checked it, it will plot your drawing to PLT file.

Too bad I don't have 2000 or else I can take a screenshot.

    Try this link:

    http://handouts.tamu.edu/pdf/Print2000.pdf

On page 4 of 7 scroll to item 8. It's heading is: Make sure you are not plotting to a file. It actually tells you what not to set...ignore the advice and you'll be able to generate a .plt file. It's not a matter of converting a .dwg to a .plt as you might think.

Good luck. Let's us know if you are sucessful.
