Which software for 3d modeling?

i a newbie and wanted to learn 3d modeling of buildings, mainly interior spaces from floor plans and elevations,sections etc and wanted to ask which software to consider??? i have some knowledge of 3ds max and autocad and revit??and what is the difference between revit architecture and structure??

I think AutoDesk Revit or Architecture work be most appropriate. Forget using plain AutoCAD. 3ds Max would be good for producing renderings.
