If cut planes is acad arch specific, then regular acad will not be able to edit it. you might be stuck having to get the architect to save his drawings with some foresight as to who will be opening it...

One of the architects I work with uses Autocad Architecture. Sometimes they save the x-ref in a ceiling grid setting or higher cut plane. When we get the xref, nothing under the ceiling shows up like doors, equipment, etc.
Is there any way to set the drawing cut plane back to the defult 3'6" in autocad 2011. Right now our only fix is to have the architect resave the drawing in Architecture with the right setting.
