press pull command moves ucs in xy plane (ACAD 2011)

why when I use the press pull command in AutoCAD 2011 it moves and the ucs in xy plane (in this plane I saw but maybe and in the other). Wrong system variable maybe? In the previous version (2009) I use, it's not that ... DUCS is off

Plane is the key word

if its 2d the extrude command is needed

presspull is for 3d objects

oh sorry about plane now i realize your talking about the directions in x and y

id togle ducs on and off

also is dynamic input on or off

Thank you for the answer. DUCS ant DYN is turned off, but I now noticed that DUCS is turns on when I select press/pull, and turns off when exit it.

ive had this problem at times

when i looked at the view cube in 2011 i noticed it wasnt oriented correctly

i just clicked on any of the possible views in the view tab and it was fixed

at times i alternated between ducs and dui until it was solved

if not i would just extrude a spline and go from there
