My hardrive crashed and now when i open a drawing half the text is wrong style.

How do I stop this from happening. All the files where saved to a sever and when they are opened on another computer the text is fine. It like my Auto Cad is over riding the text properties and chagning them on my computer.

Does the new computer have all the fonts installed that the previous computer had?

    Yes.

Some of the text is the correct font/style but most is not.

Hmm, weird. I've never seen that issue unless something literally went wrong with the CAD file itself, but that was located on the server right? Have you tried to run the RECOVER command on the file?

recover won't work. I had to reinstall everything and start from scratch. When a drawing is opened on another computer nothing is wrong. I don't think its the drawing I have a feeling is a setting in autocad that i need to change.

So when you check each Text Style in the drawing, it is verified that every single style does show the font to be installed and in use?

The text that is wrong comes up as Acab Text style with the font of Technical, but should be font Stylus BT. I can go through the drawing a change each font to the Stylus BT. They are saved with that style Acab Text font Stylus BT and when opened the change to Technical and the size seems to change also.

Hmm, weird indeed. I've never ran across such a problem so that's why it's hard for me to diagnose. Anytime a font style hasn't worked it's always been a font file that is not used by AutoCAD.
