DB007
All our plot styles have been setup as colour dependant ctb files. We are getting some clients drawings that use stb named plot styles and we are having difficultly plotting them quickly. We basically want to be able to plot the drawing with all lineweights set to to say 0.1 and all colours to be 100% solid black as they are only reference drawings going in a file. For the odd one or two we are opening them in AutoCAD and using the convertpstyles command to revert back to our own ctb styles but the office admin machine only has TrueView installed and can not run this command. Is there a quick way to do this? Thanks
CyberAngel
The quick way would be for your clients to send you their .STB files along with their drawings. Insist on it as part of their deliverables.
rkent
Open one of their drawings and note all the plot style names assigned to the layers. Now create an STB file with those names, set them all to 0.1 width and black, name it the same name that they use, that should be all you need. When you plot it will find the stb file or you can point to it and all is good.
