trying to stretch material in max into a dome shape

hi guys, new to this forum but desperately need help..... need to create an animation of a gasholder filling with air in a dome shape, would really appreciate ideas of the best way to do this....... Thanks

TRYING TO STRETCH MATERIALS IN MAX are you talking about wraping them round the dome and gettting them scaled right? if so use the modifier list and scroll down to map scaler

As for idea's, you could post a picture of what you have done so far so it gives us a better idea of what you are up to.
