anaok Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Hi all I know how to create a cornice from shapes (2d) and rectangle by loft modifier I need to know How to create cornices from 3d object (it has protrusions or holes) depending on any perimeter line of room like this picture any ideas? You could start with a 2D profile and extrude them with segmet number defined I usualy go to subobject lvl and axtrude faces and chamfer or fillet them. Then i would copy and attach them. Sittingbull Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Zip file, didn't thought of that cornice.zip Hope you'll find your way trough the modifiers. It's a rather simple example. You can edit the shapes to make it more complex. Of course there are many ways to do this, like meshedits or boolean operations(not my favo's) or combined spline extrusions...
