did you check the twist option?

Select objects to sweep or [MOde]:

Select sweep path or [Alignment/Base point/Scale/Twist]: twist

Enter twist angle or allow banking for a non-planar sweep path

[bank/EXpression]:

I don't think the twist is what's bothering you, but maybe the bank option.

What options are you getting at the command prompt?

Something like this:

Select objects to sweep or [MOde]:

Select sweep path or [Alignment/Base point/Scale/Twist]: twist

Enter twist angle or allow banking for a non-planar sweep path

[bank/EXpression]:

or something like that:

Select objects to sweep or [MOde]:

Select sweep path or [Alignment/Base point/Scale/Twist]: twist

Enter twist angle or allow banking for a non-planar sweep path

[bank/EXpression]:

Could you eventualy upload the file, please?

Regards,

SB

That's OK. Try this experiment. Scale the triangle you want to extrude using a scale factor of 99% then extrude it. Does it still twist? Just curious.

I managed to do it with your file though.

As the the turn height is 1.5001 and the isoceles triangle has sides of 1.5, it does the trick.

I wonder what parameter would make that triangle twist.

Can you make a screenshot of the shape you're getting? Or use jpgout.

Edit: Ooooops...

My bad, it does twist actualy...$

Back to the drawing board...

Ok, finaly got it.

It's not realy twisting, see. It 's only rotated on 90°.

You have to realign it on the same ucs than the helix.
