thegodplato Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 just trying out Inventor 2010 and going through the tutorials but struggling a little. I have drawn the rectangle but can't centre it. In Autocad you could just select the rectangle and move it via the midpoint to wherever you needed. czc Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 On one of Rob Cohee's videos on youtube I saw him do it with a vertical and horizontal constraint. mechman Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 there is an add in somewhere that we use that gives you the option to start drawing your rectangle from a mid point constraint, or one of the edges mid point...
