Is there a way of importing a Civil3d surface into 3dMax.I would apreciate a guide.

I am trying to import a civil3d Surface created from Lidar data into 3dMAX so i can do some basic modeling and rendering to create a short video.
I have never used 3dMax before and any help would be verry much apreaciated.
    thank you

Have you tried just opening the .dwg in Max? If that doesn't work then explode the surface, then do the same.

If the first option doesn't work and you need to keep the surface 'live' then there is a Civil 3D extension pack for Max that is available if you have a subscription - google it, and see if that's what you need (I've not tried it though).
