techjunkie
Hey guys, I've been working on trying to get an embeded HTML page inside of AutoCAD that can communicate back and forth with AutoCAD, but I've hit a road block. So far I've managed to embed an html page by using OpenDCL and I've been able to initiate actions from the AutoCAD side by changing the browser url to a 'javascript:function()' url. However I'm unsure as to how to initiate an action from the HTML page and have it run a command inside of AutoCAD. Basically what I need is to be able to click a button on the html page and have it send commands to run via the AutoCAD command line. I assume I'd need to use javascript and some form of ActiveX control, but beyond that I'm clueless. Any suggestions?
BlackBox
Welcome to the forums! I *believe* you're interested in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), which can be coded in Visual Studio. Here's an example: Hosting WPF content inside an AutoCAD Tool Palette Hope this helps!
techjunkie
That looks like it might do the trick. Thanks.
