Afternoon all.
AutoCAD 2006 - When working in modelspace on multiple details you can sometimes end up with a few details not being used i.e. not on a paperspace tab on a drawing border.
Is there a way of seeing in modelspace which details/drawings are in viewports and which are not so they can be deleted?

What I like to do is put rectangles (in model space) on the defpoints layer around whatever will be displayed on the page. Then I use modify my viewport's corners to the rectangles corners.

Kewl so this can actually be done by drawings a square over your viewport. Typin in CHSPACE and transphere square into Model Space - cheers CarlB for that one.Originally Posted by JIMMY

Jimmy, can you tell me what exactly chspace does? I didn't understand your post and I can not find the command in help or in my book. Thank you.
Sure no problem - If you have any text or objects in paperspace which are over your viewport i.e. if you have a detail which you have drawn in model space but you have noted up in Paper space - this comand enables you to select the text / objects in paperspace and transpher them into model space at the same scale that the viewport is set at.Originally Posted by orionengineer
Hope this makes sense.
