Hello there,
Trying to get a model drawing from AutoCAD 3D Map 2010 into Rhino4...
Can it be done?
I have:
a) deleted filters
b) deleted whiteouts
c) exploded all blocks
d) purged
What I want is a plan drawing in Rhino, so I can then make it 3D...
cheers
Cas

e) saved as all variations of 2010/2007/2004 that I can find
The one that opened the best was:
Opened Rhino/Open/018_EXPLODED07.dxf file
- no errors... hurray!
Surprise, surprise, surprise! I just checked and 2012 can import many different file types. It's about time.

It certainly appeared that Autodesk’s previous modus operandi was to buy the manufacturer before allowing it’s software to play well with AutoCAD.![]()
