ReMark
Load up your installation DVD and you can install Express Tools. You must have forgotten to check it off during the first install of 2012.
Grant
I had a few problems with the menus for Autocad a couple of custom ones and on one machine the normal acad menu didn't come up. I DID merge my 2011 settings. What I did was type. MENULOAD Unload EXPRESS then click browse, make sure the File Types are *.cuix then click on the EXPRESS.cuix go open go load then Close The Express tools should be there You may want to see if the file is there before you go ahead and unload things. troggarf
This shows how to do it for AutoCAD Architecture but it is the same process for Vanilla AutoCAD http://autocadtips.wordpress.com/2011/04/26/express-tools-for-autocad-architecture-2012/
joffler
The instructions for adding express tools via the control panel uninstall utility worked great--and quickly!
