Converting a 3d solid to ... anything

This is the first time in many years I've worked with 3d faces/solids. Maybe I've overlooked something.

I'm building a (very rough) 3d model of a building. I create a UCS on a wall and draw a BOX to represent the wall. The right-click menu gives me a "convert to" option, with a submenu for Mass Element, Roof Slab, Slab, and Wall.

Well, I wanted a wall. The command WALLBODYCONVERT, however, is unknown. So are SLABBODYCONVERT and ROOFSLABBODYCONVERT. Finally, it will let me create a mass element, but I'm not sure that's what I want.

A search of this site for WALLBODYCONVERT comes up empty. Is this a bug, did I skip a step, or what?
