stevsmith
I downloaded the trial version of Inventor 2012 from the Autodesk Website. The trouble is when I try to install it, I am told to download and install the Vista Hotfix KB971138. I done this and ran the fix, the trouble is that is displays the message "not required on this machine" then dissapears and I still cannot install Inventor. It does allow me to install fusion, but thats a total waste of time. Any ideas Guys and Gals
JD Mather
What version of Inventor 2012? What version of Vista? Did you turn off anti-virus and UAC during install?
stevsmith
I think I may have it JD. The link that Autodesk supplied gave me a hotfix for KB971137 and not KB971138 After a little "googling" i found the proper hotfix for it http://thehotfixshare.net/board/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=11110
BlazeFlame
I have windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium It says that I need to install that specific hotfix but it always says that the update is not needed on the machine I've tried looking for some but they always say 64bit or 86bit
