    I Cannot get an embedded Excell spread sheet to open in Autocad

    What method did you use to get the spreadsheet into AutoCAD in the first place?

    Mostly do drafting related to manufacturing. From doing site layouts with proposed updates, additions and renovations to be budgeted and submitted for bid, to updating and changing existing drawings to reflect maintenance and repair/revision work done on site.

    In AutoCAD 2008, I believe, your options are 1) Insert as an OLE object or 2) use a DataLink. Unless you used some third-party software like DotSoft's XL2CAD program?

    select the inserted excel sheet in autocad, then right click and go down to the ole and select open under that. Unfortunately you can no longer just double click ole's to get them open.
