Mtext attached to leader

When editing an exsitng mtxt associated with a leader from, say, 6 lines to 2, the box around the text stays the original size, which makes for huge masking for small mtext's. I do not have this problem with mtext using the mtext command.

I don't know if this will solve your problem, but give it a try.

Select the mtext associated with the leader.
Go to properties and set the width to 0.
